Men of Issachar...Men of Christ

ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern
The SIGNS OF THE TIMES !
"Men of Issachar...Men of Christ"

God had anointed David to be King of Israel, replacing the unfaithful King Saul. Yet the divine timetable was not yet ready for David's coronation. While he waited, he hid from the murderous Saul. While he hid, he was joined by certain men from the tribes of Israel. They were risking their lives by standing with David, but they chose to do so because they had believed that David was the true choice of God - - the "soon and coming king"!

This is how the bible commends the resolve of the men of the tribe of Issachar...

"The following men joined David at Ziklag while he was hiding from Saul son of Kish.
They were among the warriors who fought beside David in battle.... All these men (of Issachar) understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take. - I Chron. 12: 1, 32

As Christians today, we have much in common with those brave men who pledged their
allegiance to David. Like them, we have broken ranks with the reigning king of earth
(Satan) in order to stand with God's soon and coming king, Jesus Christ. So let us be like the men of Issachar; warriors who understand the signs of the times and know the best course to take.  How can we do this today? This is what we are told in
I Timothy 2:15..."Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed; who correctly explains the word of truth."

To that end, I would like to leave you with these websites to reference for your study of
prophecy and the end-times. As the times grow darker, more people will have "ears to
hear". These sites will educate your faith and enable you to "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."
I Pet. 3:15

Time is short! Jesus will rapture us soon. When that occurs, faith will become sight!
Think about it... In all of eternity we will never again have this opportunity to serve him before we see Him! Ask the Lord to show you how He wants you to serve Him in the little time you have left till He comes for us. If you show Him your love with your service before you see Him, He has promised a special blessing, for in John 20:29, Jesus said..."blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Look up, saints, for "your redemption draweth nigh!"
