Babel Revived

The European Union (EU) represents the unfolding fulfillment of a prophecy from the Book of Daniel, chapters 2 & 7.  In simplest terms, the Bible predicts that God will allow a powerful organization to produce a powerful person who will gain eventual control of the world's economy, currency and government! 

He will then use his power to promote his own evil purposes.

Many teachers of biblical prophecy agree that the organization is the EU, and its predicted leader will eventually be identified as the "Antichrist" spoken of by the apostle, John.

The 3 pictures reveal stunning evidence of the evil roots of the EU. 

In the 11th chapter of the book of Genesis, a wicked man of forceful character named "Nimrod" gains the cooperation of many to build a tower that would reach to heaven. His influence drew men together in unity and purpose!

Let's build a great city with a tower that reaches to the skies - a monument to our greatness! This will bring us together and keep us from scattering all over the world.
Genesis 11:4

His intentions may have sounded lofty and admirable to the men whom he deceived into helping him, but God knew that his heart was corrupted with pride. The Lord stopped their plans by causing them all to suddenly begin speaking in different languages and the tower stood for centuries as a warning to all who would ever try to magnify their own greatness instead of God's! 

Now in the EU, we see another group of men rising again in a similar cause.   Their rhetoric sounds lofty, but their hearts are corrupt with pride.

Soon a great leader of forceful character will once again come on the scene to inspire and unite them even further. They have even adopted the symbol of Babel's Tower as their emblem by which many others will be deceived as well. With their motto of "Many Tongues, One Voice", they even seek to reverse the judgment of God upon the original sin of Nimrod and his followers!

History shows us that evil roots bring evil fruits. By this measure, the EU is set to produce the greatest evil the world has ever seen and God will judge it severely along with all those who were deceived into promoting its evil purposes.

The bible describes a great harlot, seated on a beast. This image is clearly explained in the Book of Revelation, chapter 17, as a symbol of great demonic power. The EU has chosen this image as its official symbol!

One EU spokesman interprets the image as representing a Greek myth, but Saint Paul said,

... evil people and impostors will flourish. They will go on deceiving others, and they themselves will deceived.
2 Timothy 3:13

In short, even those whom the Lord is using to fulfill His own prophecies are almost always ignorant of their role as pawns in the hand of the purposeful God.

"The most important prophetic development of the 20th Century was the re-gathering of the Jewish people to their historic homeland in the Middle East, resulting in the creation of the state of Israel on May 14, 1948.

The second most important development was the formation of a European confederation known as The European Union.  Both of these momentous historical events point to the fact that we are living in the end times, right on the threshold of the Tribulation and the Lord's return."
